Born and raised in California but fell in love with the Pacific Northwest when I attended the University of Puget Sound. After getting a graduate degree at Temple University, I found my place with the National Park Service. From 1994 until 2002 I worked at the Seattle unit of Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. In 2002 I moved east of the Cascades and have worked at Nez Perce NHP since that time. I have been a member of NAI since 1996 and have been the chair of the Interpretive Media Section since 2006.
