Participate

S

park is a virtual workshop where people who develop interpretive media can learn from each other, share expertise, and exchange ideas. Here’s how you can participate:

Respond to Articles

Just click the “Comment” link at the end of an article.  You’ll be asked to enter your email address to make sure you’re a real human being and not some kind of cyber-bot.  We will never sell or give away your information.

Get on our Mailing List

Get reminders about new content on the site and stay up to date with the field.  Our quarterly newsletter goes out to the members of the National Association for Interpretation (NAI) who sign up for the Interpretive Media Section.  If you’re not a member of NAI, join here and be sure to check the box that says you want to be part of the Interpretive Media Section.  If you are already a member of NAI contact Jaime King by phone at 888-900-8283 or by email to join the Interpretive Media Section.

Make a Suggestion

We’d love to know what you’d like to see on this site.  Visit the Suggestion Box, and drop in your idea.

Contribute an Article

Just like the sessions at a live workshop, articles on this site inspire, illuminate, and provoke discussion.  If you’d like to contribute an article, we’d love to hear from you!  Please see our Contributors’ Guidelines.

Help the Web Team

Seriously, we need it.  We’re in search of people to take on editorship of specific departments — the Cookbook, for instance — and we’d really like to find an Events Editor so that we can inform readers of upcoming events related to interpretive media.   We could use some design help, and we also need someone to handle sponsorship and advertising.  And, of course, we’ve got plenty of other smaller tasks, including proofreading, analyzing traffic, and more.   If you can give us a few hours of your time each month, please get in touch.

Volunteer for the Section

The NAI Interpretive Media Section is much more than this website.  Find out how you can get involved.
